Festival Planning Meeting

There will be meetings to discuss this year’s Clifton Gorge Music & Arts Festival on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Clifton Senior Center. Please come with ideas and volunteer to help! For more information call Sue Chasnov at 767-1767 or 342-2175.

Historical Clifton

Though often overshadowed by our larger neighbors, Clifton has its fair share of history and fame. Here is just a glimpse:

Clifton is home to the Historic Clifton Mill, one of the largest water powered grist mills still in existence. While they still mill their own flours, what they’re best known for is their legendary Christmas lights display.

Clifton is the birthplace of Woody Hayes, former head football coach of The Ohio State University Buckeyes; in fact, his father was once superintendent of Clifton Union School.
